One of my sisters and I started going through my family’s massive collection of 35 mm slides…from the 1950s and 1960s and 1970s…. and had lots of them scanned to disc. I thought this one was perfect for weekend reflections. Taken in the late 1960s…..my youngest sister:Photo taken by one of my parents.
I have a lot to scan too. This seem to be a fun memory 🙂

I can’t take credit for the photo…either my mother or father took it!

Nice reflections – reflecting on your past as well as the reflection in the water. (And fun to see your family was doing blur even without SlowShutterCam!)

That must have been well panned to get the horse and rider in focus with the background blurred – great to dig out old photos &c and give them a new life.

I think that might have been the stable in south Fort Garry
down by what became the flood way? When we moved to Fort Richmond in 1967 it was still there and I followed the hoof prints to find it. Soon after it was bulldozed for housing development.
