A Photo a Week Challenge: Off the Beaten Track

I am going to make an attempt to participate In Nancy Merrill’s photography challenge for 2017. You can read about the challenge here. Basically, she comes up with a theme and posts a photo that she think fits the theme on each Thursday. My task(as well as others following her meme) is to interpret her theme and post a photograph that I think fits the theme before the following Thursday, when a new theme is started.

This week’s theme is “Off the Beaten Track”. A favorite place of mine that is Off the Beaten Track is a huge off-leash dog park just a few minutes away from my house. It offers great views of the city and despite the fact that the parking lot often has lots of cars, the park is so large that it is very easy not to run into anyone at all. Along the path there are benches for rest stops….and I managed to snap a photo of a bench while a small Vee formation of Canada Geese were overhead.
