Snap: Another Car Show

2016…and time for a new meme from Helena. This year it is “Snap”: between 2 and 4 photos that create a visual set.

A long weekend during summer in Winnipeg means one thing: Car Show! Sunday had been a terrible day weatherwise, but come Monday, the weather was lovely. So, my hubby and I went to a car show that we have consistently gone to the past few years. Surprise, surprise..nothing new or exciting…but I was delighted to see a few small puddles left over from the previous day’s rain!

And yes there were cars:

But to me, what was more fun were the people and the dogs. I don’t know why, but there are always lots of dogs at car shows!

A slow shutter(1 second exposure) photo of 2 ladies and a dog:

A reflection with a dog:

A reflection of a young girl, daring to not listen to her father…and walking through the puddle(or last least touching it!):

And lastly, someone who has obviously been at too many car shows:

  1. The rainbow cars are quite shiny. The skeleton driving is what I think will happen to many of those texting & driving … could be a good advert.

  2. We’re going to the Nelson, BC car show this weekend. Daughter and her husband are entering their old Mustang. We are taking our newish Challenger – the chase car in case the Mustang decides it isn’t up to a 7 hour road trip!
