2016…and time for a new meme from Helena. This year it is “Snap”: between 2 and 4 photos that create a visual set.
Hmmm…another Snap by me with more than 2-4 items!!
This week, my Snap is 9 different Warming Huts at the Forks in Winnipeg. Some information about the 2016 competition can be found here.
I still haven’t had a chance to explore all the new huts for 2016 and these photos include warming huts that debuted in 2015(and are here again for 2016) and ones that are new for 2016.

I certainly can’t imagine needing one of these but they look like they would be quite toasty.

Great shots. I never have figured out, however, why architects think open-air structures provide warmth!

A beautiful set. I love the red & blue. I wonder, does warm air come out from that tube? like a hand dryer in the loo. or am I just dreaming of warmth in the cold.

I’d definitely need a warming hut if I lived in Winnipeg! Great set!

I too have never heard of warming huts but they do look interesting. I have just been teasing Miriam for posting more than four pics but then rules are made to break!

All the necessities away from home (col). Local warming huts are for the ice fishermen & those are just bland compared to these.

On other parts of the river we have a lot of ice fishing huts too…and they are pretty bland too!
