Another month for the One Four Challenge which you can read about it, and join it here. This challenge is about processing 1 image in 4 different ways over 4 weeks.
Oops…missed the postings about the first One Four Challenge for 2016….so with this post I will present the original photo, week 1 and week 2.
Stewie was wanting some attention..sitting at the top of the stairs…with the the perfect Aussie head tilt. I hadn’t reset my camera settings, so I got a very badly underexposed photo. This is the original:
For the first week’s edit…all I did was push the auto button in Lightroom….now Stewie’s face is visible:
And for the second week’s edit, I used the lens correction to level the photo and applied a Nicole Young LR preset, which is a bit too saturated:
For the following 2 weeks I will have more time to actually improve the image!! Like bringing out his eye on the left and blurring out the background. And removing the slight purple undertones in his coat.
You can follow the other posts from the blogging world by checking Robyn’s post for February here.
Such a sweet full expression, awesome to see how much light you were able to recover from the image. What a fun subject to work with.

Marsha great to have you joining in 😃 You didn’t miss a week – we started this week – later than usual. Wow, the Auto button, really brought the image back and I like the preset version as it brings a lovely softness with the light and saturation. Very nice 😃
