Another month for the One Four Challenge which you can read about it, and join it here. This challenge is about processing 1 image in 4 different ways over 4 weeks.
For this month I decided to use a photograph I had taken while on the Winnipeg edition of the Kelby Worldwide Photo Walk yesterday. You can read more about these walks here. The Winnipeg walk started at The Forks..and went through the Exchange District..and back to the The Forks with about 25 photographers wandering the streets snapping at everything in sight!
For this week’s edit I was inspired by a friend of mine who loves dramatic black and white, so I attempted a version for this week(using the week 1 LR preset photo as the starting point). I used a JixiPix Software app called Dramatic Black and White for iPad with the Dramatic 1 preset for this week’s edit:

I think this is the perfect subject for black and white with texture!
Wonderful result and subject. Nicely done Marsha 🙂

Oh wow, I just looked at your week 1 edit as well. That preset really brought out the best parts of your image, and this weeks with the dramatic B&W the metallic-looking bits from last week look even cooler. I really like this perspective of the garage, amazing lines.

Dramatic is definitely the right word for it! A great edit. 🙂

I am late with Week 1 Comments so I’m combining both here. – I really liked your Week 1 Edit with the added blue clouds and the way the building was highlighted. For this week the total black and white is very dramatic looking. It makes it seem more ominous for sure.

B/W is really very dramatic shot. The original is quite washed-out..:)
I like this perspective.

It is dramatic – a tad dark on my monitor but that may well be the feel you were going for 🙂
