Another month for the One Four Challenge which you can read about it, and join it here. This challenge is about processing 1 image in 4 different ways over 4 weeks.
For this month I decided to use a photograph I had taken of some cormorants sitting in a dead tree..with a cormorant flying in to join them.
I have always wanted to try the “recompose” feature in Photoshop Elements and this month’s photo, with all the dead space in the middle seemed ideal. So a very quick edit for this month…using “recompose ” on the original photo. And then of course, this was followed by an edit on my iPad…..using the app “Photocopier” with the preset Van Gogh Portrait of A Peasant:
I do like the way the Photocopier app added some lovely blue colour and texture to make the sky less boring. I can see there are some artifacts from the recompose edit towards the bottom where the 2 trees were merged..so I will work on that for next week. And maybe go back to a tighter crop too!
