NF Digital Abstract: Way out of focus!

My new camera has a setting that lets it take a photo even if it can find nothing to focus on. For this photo, the flexible spot focal area must have been where there was nothing to focus on, towards the far left! This photo was taken by the Red River at Lockport…and I think it is of a fisherman(or fisherlady)…….or maybe a mermaid:

oof fisherlady

I love the hexagonal bokeh…but it is amazing how many photographers these days are SO anti-bokeh…..

  1. I like it. I actually took part not so long ago in a course that was focusing (no pun intended) on out-of-focus or unsharp, blurred photos. That was so much fun. What a different perspective to today’s oh so perfectly sharp photos. Something to experiment with.
