The One Four Challenge(you can read about it, and join it here). This challenge is about processing 1 image in 4 different ways over 4 weeks.
For July, I chose another photo involving 2 people…out for a romantic walk along the riverwalk at The Forks in Winnipeg. I was playing with my new camera(Sony a6000) with a 55-210 mm lens and as soon as I saw them coming around the bend I knew I needed a photo.
Week 4 …..a bit late since I was having internet issues….
For the final week I just tried sharpening the original photo, and nothing else! I used the iPad app Photoviva to do the sharpening and then to tone down the sharpening a bit I overlayed the sharpened image over the original image:
I think a little bit of sharpening did actually improve the image!
A gallery so you can compare the all the versions:
And as usual a poll:

Week 3 is my favourite and I too have so enjoyed this wonderful relaxed image.
I do agree that the sharpening made a difference and it was great seeing the image as it is. Lovely image for July Marsha 😃

I loved this image from the start, there is something special about it. My favorite is “oil-painting”, so fitting with the mood.

Another lovely edit! I think I’m with you – the very vintage one is my favourite, too.
