I bought myself a new lighter mirror-less camera last week…because dragging around my heavy DSLR was giving me constant back pain. Of course I have been playing with all the settings trying to get familiar with it.
So, while downtown the other day, I tried photographing the water sculpture that stands behind our main library…using 2 different shutter speeds.
Fast: 1/250 second resulted in freezing the water droplets in time:
Slow: 1/8 sec lead to blurred water streams:
Pretty cool difference between the 2 photos! If you click on the photos to enlarge them you can really see the difference.

I hope you’ll share more about your new camera. I don’t know much about mirrorless cameras, but I’m definitely interested! Great shots!

That is a pairing we haven’t had so far. Interestingly I have been experimenting with water and different shutter speeds too. Not sure when and how I will blog it yet. Great pictures.

Thank you. I think that was from my first macro app use on my iPhone. I was so happy to have a “model” for that shoot! Here are the othershttps://chasinglifeandfindingdreams.wordpress.com/2015/01/12/living-large-macro-style/
