WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge: Wall of Art

The theme of this week’s challenge is “Wall”: Share an image of a wall that reveals something about a place, people, or you.

There is a massive wall of art in our central library…the Centennial Library…in Winnipeg. I took this photo of a pedestrian mid-stride on the second floor walkway with the wall in the background. The photo was taken with the Bluristic app….

Processed with VSCOcam with hb1 preset

This massive art work is Untitled (2005) by local artist Cliff Eyland. It is made up of 1000 individual mixed media paintings on small blocks of wood that look like a giant pixelated abstract when viewed as a whole from a distance.

  1. I really like this; it reminds me a bit of L S Lowry’s pictures. Maybe it is the stick legs, the ‘factory windows’ on the wall and the colours in it. Nice work 🙂
