2 quick fabric postcards from gelli-prints

2 quick fabric postcards using gelli monoprinted backgrounds(on PDFcotton). I took a great workshop from Monika Kinner-Whalen (http://mysweetprairie.blogspot.ca/) on Tuesday with the Manitoba Prairie Quilter’s guild(as a guest) about making fabric postcards. She does fabulous fiber art, and currently has a show at the Prairie Ink Restaurant in McNally Robinson Bookstore. So I put my new-found knowledge /technique to use and made 2 fabric postcards—using fabric printed with my gelli-plate.deer postcard 1 deer postcard 2It is so cool that as long as there are no dangly threads or loose embellishments they can just  be popped in the post as a postcard(with a few details on the back so it looks like a real postcard)!! George thinks that they will probably be stolen before they reach their destination- I take that as a compliment!!!
