Shibori workshop

Having a great time making shibori prints on silk with an online workshop with Glennis Dolce(Shibori Girl Studio).

In the first lesson we learnt itajime(fold and clamp) shibori. In the second lesson we learnt stitched shibori.

These are results of the lessons so far:

The first two are ijatime using assorted resists and clamps(need to iron the second one!) while the last 2 are stitched shibori. The more intense colour in the last one is partly due to the different type of silk used and also partly due to a more concentrated dye.

Not sure what new technique we learn next week!
